Grace=elegance or beauty of form, manner, motion, or action: attractiveness, charm, gracefulness, comeliness, ease, lissomeness, fluidity: a pleasing or attractive quality or endowment: favor or goodwill: manifestation of favor, especially by a superior: mercy; clemency; pardon: The word charis, often translated 'grace' is quite heavily used in the New Testament. χάρις grace is that which affords joy, pleasure, delight, sweetness, charm, loveliness: grace of speech good will, loving-kindness, favor of the merciful kindness by which God, exerting his holy influence upon souls, turns them to Christ, keeps, strengthens, increases them in Christian faith, knowledge, affection, and kindles them to the exercise of the Christian virtues
